A practice shaped by painting, architecture and public space.
Hilde Vanhees is a Belgian painter and visual artist based in Kleine-Spouwen. After earning a Master in Architecture from UHasselt, she continued her training in painting and monumental painting before completing a Bachelor in Painting at PXL-MAD School of Arts in Hasselt.
Since 2022, Vanhees has developed her own artistic practice. Her work encompasses painting, mixed media, murals and commissioned pieces, and has been presented in solo and group exhibitions across Belgium and the Netherlands.
